The holiday can provide many challenges for those who are grieving and can amplify feelings of isolation. With some preparation, there is hope for making the season a gentler time.
Join us for this inspiring event, where you can prepare for the upcoming holiday season by connecting with the gifts your loved one has left you, and by sharing your grief with those that understand.

Free and open to the Public. SEATING IS LIMITED. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED BY October 14, 2024

Suggested donation of $25 per family helps support the mission of our nonprofit hospice.

Gifts of $100 or more will receive a personal Light Up a Life Ornament.

1:00 PM Expressive Arts Workshop:

Drumming to Honor a Loved One's Legacy.

Join us for a special workshop where the expressive arts offer a meaningful way to honor and celebrate your loved one. This event provides a supportive community space to remember, share, and celebrate through the power of music and drumming. All instruments will be provided, and no prior experience with the arts is necessary.

2:30 PM Formal Musical Program and Candle-Lighting Ceremony

The ritual of lighting a candle for the loved ones we have lost reminds us that even in their absence, the gifts they have left behind continue to glow. This inspirational ceremony features a musical performance and a healing message designed to help you see the light of hope in your grief. Should you wish, we welcome you to pay tribute and speak your loved one’s name.
